Customized Heat Loss Analysis

Halifax Heating Residential performs a customized heat loss and heat gain analysis on each new home plan submitted to us. We assess these requirements at the individual room level based on construction standards, house orientation, and other information provided. We accurately calculate solar gain by including for all windows and door sizes and take other variables such as high ceilings/open/vaulted areas of the home into consideration. Nothing is left to chance!

We compile the details of the construction envelope of the home and assess the insulation values for walls, ceilings, basements, under foundation and the R values of windows/doors. This thorough assessment allows us to identify the requirements in our installations for long term equipment performance. We determine the accurate required amount of air supply needed for each room to assure indoor comfort for all seasons.
